General objectives

Formal and operational mathematical thinking is important in both industrial and economic contexts. Acquiring mathematical knowledge not only widens one’s horizons but also leads to developing innovative ideas and interdisciplinarity.

The mathematics course is focused on the needs of various modules within the tourism bachelor programme such as statistics and economics, where knowledge of mathematics is required for a large number of applications.
